How does egg donation work?
-
Ovulation stimulation
Ovulation stimulation is a key step in becoming a donor. Special certified medications are used during this stage to support optimal follicle growth and egg maturation. Throughout the stimulation process, regular (every 2–3 days) ultrasound monitoring is conducted to evaluate follicle size and development in the ovaries.
-
Follicular puncture
Follicular puncture (egg retrieval) is a completely painless procedure that follows ovulation stimulation. It ensures the collection of mature eggs from the donor for further use. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia for maximum comfort. Under ultrasound guidance, a doctor retrieves the eggs from the ovaries. The process usually takes about 10–15 minutes, and the donor can typically return home within a few hours.
By becoming an egg donor, you help women who:
- have no ovaries or whose ovaries do not function properly due to age or illness;
- cannot conceive and carry a pregnancy due to poor egg quality;
- risk passing on genetic disorders to their children due to hereditary conditions.
In today’s world, many women undergo a difficult journey of infertility treatment. For them, egg donation is the only chance to experience the miracle of childbirth. Doctors can make the impossible possible by using donor eggs and modern assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF.
As a donor, you will also receive fair compensation, because we deeply value your decision to help future parents around the world. Most importantly, your decision should be well-informed — and once you reach out to us, you won’t have to worry. We take full responsibility for the quality of the medical process. Our professional team ensures your safety, confidentiality, and ethical treatment throughout every step of the donation journey.
